February 2009As part of our garden project we are building a kitchen capable of servicing a whole class. The kitchen will include four work stations and a demonstration station that will double as a workstation that allows disables access for students in wheelchairs.
A plan was kindly drawn up by Mrs Cardy's husband to suit the old computer room that is no longer used.

Once we have grown and cooked all the yummy food we need a dining area to sit in and eat it. Rather than making a separate dining area we have purchased table and bench seats for our undercover area so they can be used every day at recess and lunch and not just for Kitchen Garden dining. The benches came as flatpacks and we put them together ourselves.
