Leckie Family
Mary Leckie was the illegitimate daughter of Anne Leckie, Farm Servant, born on the 15th July 1858 at Cloyntie Cottage, Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, Scotland. In 1861 Mary is still living in the home she was born in, with her grandparents John and Janet Leckie, although Mary is now listed as Mary Hunter. Her mother Anne is not in the household, and I have not been able to find her on the 1861 Census.
