A webpage about my Purvis Eureka
My name is Owen and I live in Perth, Western Australia. I have never really liked the look of or the idea of owning a boring normal everyday production car avaliable in Australia that was within a cheap price range for a Part-time chicken slave job uni student. I have always looked through the autotrader at cars that have a unique look about them.
I first began looking at big yank tanks and nice Valiant Chargers, S's and VG Convertibles. Although then I discovered two cars that were forsale in Perth, both under 15 thousand dollars. I instantly called my Dad into the room and asked him if he knew what the hell it was. Turns out dad wanted one when he was 20 (now being WAY over that), although his parents would only let him buy a production car... so the brand new Cherry Red Charger it was for him.
Now being 19, I have been watching the sales of Purvis's for 3 years... and there havn't been too many I decided I would buy one as a project and fix it up. I have looked at two others from the one I now own and one I thought was over priced for what it was and the other well... I might pick it up off the guy later on if he still has it kept in his shed.
With this webpage I hope to educate people about these cars and about problems that I have come across with mine.
