In regard to the number of water training sessions that these swimmer were undertaking, in many cases this information dated back a number of years.  The swimmers as they have become more professional may have increased the number of water sessions per week.  It also must be realised that the average number of sessions has been taken over classes 1 – 10.  Looking closely at the number of sessions we were able to determine the average session undertaken class by class.

Classes S1 – S4 = 3 to 4 sessions per week

Classes S5 – S6 = 5 to 6 sessions per week

Classes S7 – S8 = 7 to 8 sessions per week

Classes S9 – S10 = 8 to 10 sessions per week
